Thanks for the posting and comments. Piclits is a great tool for language arts teachers and ESL or ELL teachers to use for not only composition work but for teaching grammar, sentence structure, vocabulary, punctuation, and even spelling. DRAG-N-DROP or FREESTYLE give the user lots of flexability. What do you think of the site? We could use lots of feedback. Plans for 2009 include a PRINT function, grouping photos by theme/categories and maybe a contest (weekly) thanks in advance. Terry Friedlander, founder terry@piclits.com
A couple of years ago I posted a blog entry about the Digital Backpack , a directory of Web 2.0 tools, online applications, and resources for students and teachers. This site has recently been refreshed and contains a number of additions. http://www.goodhue.k12.mn.us/school242/genie224/images/files/backpack2010.html
Hello folks - I came across the Educational Origami blog and wiki today, and it is well worth a visit. The wiki has a lot of information on 21st Century Learning, rubrics for use with web 2.0 and instructional technology tools and more. Let me know what you think. cheers
